against Navarro
In the first game, Navarro scored their first run in the bottom of the first inning. Trailing 1-0 in the top of the 3rd inning, Eastern scored two runs and took the lead. Joe Spring led off the inning with a single and then Curtis Coyle walked. Eastern Ranked 23rd in First Regular Season NJCAA Poll Story by staff (03/05/10) On Wednesday the NJCAA released their first regular season baseball poll. Off to a 9-3 start, Eastern was rewarded by being ranked 23rd. The Mountaineers have played seven ranked teams in their first 10 games of the season.

Eastern baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Navarro College on Saturday. Navarro
won game one 6-3 and game two 7-1.
